Hi everyone,
So since i last posted on here a lot has changed, the first thing to change is that all the people on the team are well and healthy and everything is running smoothly at PEPE and everything is hunky dory.
Next we had an order from BMS to move house (this is me and Tim) as it will be better for the relationships of the team if we are all together, so we have moved into the same house as the girls, and everything was working there really well, apart from not having beds for a couple of days, although sleeping in hammocks is actually soooo nice!
We had a really good week then, filled with PEPE and PEPE parties which was really fun, we then finished PEPE for the christmas holidays.
Then we got a big shock. Anna decided it was time to go back home. This was for no reason to do with Brazil and purely her own choice which we all decided was best for the team for her. Obviously those fo us out here in Brazil and still really upet by this, but we are working together with God to keep going on the path that he has laid down for us.
Thankfully it has really felt like God has been with us these last few weeks, he has answered prayers and seems to have been working out situations so that we Anna could go home and not leave sophie on her own in a family of Brazilians. And we are so thankfull to God for all he has shown us and taught us over the past 7/8 weeks that we have been here. Our prayer is that we are still used for the glory of his name and that we can ajust to the new situation of only have the 3 of us, and that we will be able to keep plodding forward in spreading the message of Jesus love to those who need it.
I hope that this finds all of you well and that where ever you are around world that life is good.
God Bless.

Oi, Tudo Bem?
Hello everyone,
Just a quick update on how things our going our end of the line.
So we have no w started PEPE properly and have been given a timetable of what we are likely to be doing over the next 4 months which is nice to know. For PEPE we have been split into pairs, Tim and Sophie and the Anna and myself, in different pepe´s. In the PEPE that i have been working in me and Anna have got to know the kids reasonably well, well as best we can with the language barrier, which has proved hard at times... but we are getting there. It was hard at first, when not going to the PEPE but now we are there things are going really well and we are enjoying it. and i get to paint again! haha!
As far as the next 4 months are concerned, we will be stopping PEPE on the 3rd of December, and then we will be helping with PEPE graduation, which is where the older ones move out and go to "real school" then we will be spending 2 weeks in the communties of the PEPEs one week in each communtiy, and then that takes us to Christmas, where we are just stauing in the church and seeing what happens, and then we get to new year, which apparently is massive here... so YAY! We will then take a short holiday in order to catch up on some sleep and relax... as getting up at 4.45 everyday takes it out of you haha! we are then going away for 5 days with the church on a mission trip to another city, which i am incredibly excited about, and cannot wait for! after that we can take the rest of our 10 days off, and then that takes us straight into a week of EPEP training, where we are training up new teachers for PEPE. and the PEPE begins in Febuary, and we are there right up until the end in March.
The team are all well here, and we are all getting along well and things are much better now that Julia is out of Hospital, it was nothing major, but she had a fever and was out of action for 2 weeks.
I hope that this finds you well,
God Bless.

Sorry that it has taken me so long!
Hi everyone!
Sorry that it has taken me so long to get one of these up on here!
Just a quick post to say that We all arrived safley (nearly two weeks ago now), all our luggage got here safley as well! Since then we have had a few portuguese lessons, and have visited both the PEPE´s that we will be working in, although we haven´t actually started working in them yet, and won´t do until the 8th Nov as we have a PEPE conference next week! We have been to the beach 3 times so far, becuase it is important to see the culture ... or maybe just because it´s too hot not to take a quick dip in the sea!
The team are all getting along really well! And all is fine! Although we are having to spend alot of time seperated as we are living with two seperate families, and we will be working in two pairs (although they have not been decided as of yet). We are looking forward to getting into the swing of things properly in the coming 2 weeks! Please remeber us in your prayers, especially with the difficulty of being seperate for chunks of the day!
I hope this finds you all well, where ever you may be around the world!
Ben .. is in Brazil!

I hear it's 5 days time?
Hi everyone!
I am sorry that i haven't posted anything on here for the last few weeks, but i have been so busy with training that i haven't managed to log on! The last part of the training was fantastic, we did things such as visited a mosk, and went street evangelising! Many more things as well! As well as that we have been to our training churches one last time and have done a few more bits within the service, and have set up links with them. As well as having lectures, we have had some free time... which has mostly been spent playing football, or Frisbee out in the brilliant sunshine of Birmingham! We had an absolutely fantastic time there at the IMC and can't wait to be back in 6 months time!
Now we have a few days left at home before we go off to our separate countries. The first team will leave on Friday, and then a team leaves every day until Tuesday.
My team will be leaving on Monday evening, and we shall be flying out at about 7.30pm and we should actually get to Sao Luis at about 10am on Tuesday.
I hope this find you all well! if you have any further questions please email me!
or see the BMS website www.bmsworldmission.org
My team's prayer letters will also be posted on there at http://www.bmsworldmission.org/Profile.aspx?id=7204
God Bless

Still alive...
Hi Everyone,
I just thought I would update you a little bit on what is happening up here at the IMC. So Last week we went to a Christian activity centre called Min-Y-Don and spent 4 days there doing many activities, i can't disclose all of the information about them, but i can say that i have now skinned and eaten a rabbit! Fun times! Then we had a nice relaxing weekend, we had no lectures or anything on Saturday and so just had a lazy day, popped into town for a bit and played some silly games! Then yesterday (Sunday) we went to a church int he morning, all the Action Teams were split into groups to go to different churches, and then after that we had an AMAZING lunch, steak! Then another lazy day, with some silly games, but lots of washing up! Then that evening we had a worship session which was really good, and amazing to worship with 35 other young people all sharing the same thoughts and aspirations!
Today we have returned to world of lectures, and have just been told how to write our prayer letters!
Hope this find you all well!
